– Não sei nem se merecíamos estar à frente (do placar), estava um jogo bem parelho, equilibrado, assim como também acho que não merecíamos a virada.

– Deveríamos ter tomado decisões melhores dentro de campo, como aconteceu em outros jogos, onde matamos o contra-ataque. Mas também é difícil, o cara que está alí dentro do campo está cansado, difícil de raciocinar. E você sempre tem a esperança de retomar a bola ao invés de matar a jogada – completou Ceni.

O treinador tricolor ainda concordou ‘que não foi um bom jogo de se assistir’ e pontuou onde achou que sua equipe falhou.

– Não foi um jogo extremamente técnico, foi muito mais físico do que técnico, jogo de marcação pressão, velocidade, contragolpes. As duas equipes tiveram como ponto positivo a marcação mais forte, obrigando muitas bolas longas, lançamentos. Não foi um jogo bonito de assistir, porque as duas equipes marcaram bem. Com menos energia, sofremos o gol e perdemos confiança. Eles não tiveram muitas chances de gol, mas aproveitaram as poucas que tiveram.

عقد توماس توخيل مدرب منتخب إنجلترا مؤتمراً صحفياً للحديث عن استعدادات الأسود الثلاثة لمواجهة أندورا غداً ضمن تصفيات أوروبا المؤهلة لكأس العالم 2026.

وقال توخيل في تصريحات نقلتها “بي بي سي” البريطانية :”لم أفكر كثيراً في المكان الذي أريد أن أكون فيه لكني سعيد بما أنا عليه حالياً، تعلمنا الكثير في أول معسكرين، المعسكر الثالث ممتاز حتى الآن ولكن الأمر لا يتعلق أبداً بما أنجزناه بل يتعلق بما نفعله في اللحظة الحالية والمضي قدماً والتطور والتحسن”.

وأضاف :”لدينا جلسة تدريبية مهمة للغاية اليوم للاستعداد لمباراة السبت لكني سعيد بمكاني الحالي وسعيد بمستوى الفريق ويمكننا أن نلمس تغييراً في سلوكنا مع قرب كأس العالم”.

وعن المنافسة على المراكز واصل توخيل: “سعيد للغاية بالتفاعل والجودة والوعي وتماسك المجموعة، نأمل أن نخوض جلسة تدريبية مميزة ونثبت جدارتنا ويمكن للجماهير أن تروا ما أراه يومياً”.

وحول جاهزية لاعبيه للمباراة فقد ذكر أن أحد لاعبي مانشستر سيتي لن يلعب المباراة: “للأسف غادر جون ستونز المعسكر للتو، يعاني من مشاكل عضلية طفيفة، ولم يتحسن أداؤه كما توقعنا وآملنا، لن نخاطر به لا ضد أندورا ولا ضد صربيا، جميع اللاعبين الآخرين جاهزين، كان لدينا 21 لاعبا في التدريب أمس و21 لاعبا اليوم وعلينا التأكد من جاهزية الجميع للغد”.

وعن تعامله مع الخصوم الذين يلعبون بطريقة دفاعية أجاب توخيل: “نتمتع بطاقة هائلة داخل وخارج الملعب، الفريق يعمل بشكل جيد للغاية وأنا متفائل، سنواجه في كلتا المباراتين دفاعا عميقا ونسعى للتغلب على ذلك بسرعة وهجومية واللعب بإيقاع أسرع مما فعلناه ضد أندورا”.

De acordo com dados do FootStats, é o jogador com mais cruzamentos certos no estadual. Ao todo, são 59, sendo 20 corretos e 39 errados. O número de passes também é algo que chama atenção.

São 211 certos e28 errados. Inclusive, 24 destes passes foram decisivos. Welington tem uma assistência na temporada, no gol de Luciano, na derrota por 2 a 1 contra o Corinthians. Em interceptações, é o líder na equipe empatado com Pedrinho. Foram duas certas.

A primeira etapa do treino desta terça-feira (28) contou com um exercício posicional de posse de bola, com passes dos zagueiros quebrando linhas. Na sequência, houve um exercício de 11 contra 11 em espaço reduzido.

O São Paulo deve retornar aos trabalhos nesta quarta-feira (29), visando o retorno aos gramados na próxima semana, na estreia pela Sul-Americana. Na sexta-feira (31), o planejamento é fazer mais um jogo-treino.

O São Paulo começou encurralado pelo Tigre. Empolgado pela torcida, os mandantes contudo pararam nas mãos de Rafael. Primeiro aos 6′, quando após cobrança de escanteio na primeira trave, a defesa tricolor cortou e a bola sobrou limpa para Lucas Blondel chutar forte de fora da área e ver o goleiro brasileiro fazer excelente defesa.

Dois minutos depois, o camisa 23 salvou de novo a pátria são-paulina. Após cobrança de falta alçada à área, a defesa não conseguiu cortar e Luciatti ficou sozinho para finalizar no canto esquerdo e ver o goleiro fazer outra excelente defesa.

MEDO E TENSÃO EM BUENOS AIRES

Se os prometidos episódios de violência por conta da rivalidade criada entre as equipes felizmente não se cumpriram, não significava entretanto que as coisas estavam mais calmas dentro de campo. Pelo contrário. Nada menos que quatro jogadores, dois de cada lado, levaram cartões amarelos em 20 minutos após disputas mais duras pela bola. A arbitragem agiu rápido, chamou os capitães e alertou para o risco de expulsão.

MENOS NERVOSISMO, MAIS BOLA

Depois da bronca ‘do professor’, a bola voltou a rolar mais limpa na capital argentina. E boas chances voltaram a ser criadas. Aos 25′, Nathan vacilou ao tentar recuar uma bola e entregou um belo presente para Retegui, que finalizou de dentro da área e, adivinhe, Rafael salvou. Dois minutos depois, mais uma vez o Tigre assustou. Colidio disparou pela ponta direita, conseguiu puxar para o meio sem marcação e finalizou com perigo, mas a bola saiu rente à trave de Rafael.

TRICOLOR TENTA ARTICULAR. E ENFIM CONSEGUE CHEGAR…

Com três zagueiros, como em 2022, o São Paulo passou boa parte do primeiro tempo buscando a articulação das jogadas pelas pontas, com David e Rato. Primeiro de maneira incisiva. Quando viu que o Tigre passou a se valer de seus erros, a opção foi por privilegiar a posse de bola.

O jogo tricolor, contudo, só conseguiu se encaixar no decorrer da partida. E, aos 33′, veio enfim a melhor chance dos brasileiros no jogo. Erison venceu a marcação no físico, girou na entrada da área e finalizou exigindo boa defesa de Marinelli. Aos 41′ ainda teve tempo de mais uma falha são-paulina. Em bola alçada na área, Alan Franco desviou contra as próprias redes e quase fez contra se não fosse Rafael, o iluminado, que salvou de novo…

XEQUE-MATE TRICOLOR

O segundo tempo começou. E com ele veio o melhor momento do São Paulo no jogo. Mais sereno e confiante das ações, o Tricolor dominou os espaços. E passou a levar perigo. Aos 10′, Michel Araújo entrou pela esquerda endiabrado: driblou Luciatti, passou pelo goleiro e só não marcou porque Montoya fez um corte estratégico. Na sobra. Méndez chutou de fora da área e acertou a trave.

Animou? Pois foi pouco… No minute seguinte o Tigre tentou armar o contra-ataque em falha de Nathan. Arboleda conseguiu o desarme e já ligou Araujo de novo. Ele tocou para Nestor, que achou bom passe para Erison tocar na saída do goleiro e abrir o placar para o São Paulo.

EL TORO CALA O TIGRE

Com a vantagem no marcador, o São Paulo passou a fazer um jogo mais posicional, esperando mais o adversário e apostando muito em riscos desnecessários no ataque. Deu certo. A lentidão tomou conta do jogo em um Tigre que sentiu demais o gol e pouco produzia. Aos 28′, Menossi cobrou falta sem força, no canto esquerdo e Rafael, sumido no segundo tempo, fez a defesa sem dar rebote.

No lance seguinte, era hora de selar de vez as coisas. E assim foi feito. Alan Franco saiu jogando de trás e lançou na medida para Erison, que dominou, avançou e, ao notar a chegada do goleiro Marinelli, tocou por cobertura para marcar o segundo e selar as coisas em Buenos Aires.

Washington wasn’t too critical of the pitch and suggested that the way it played was just an aberration. “I think it was just a one-off game,” he said at the post-match press conference. “I don’t think that just because it was spinning so much, we have to address anything. Just that one-off game. Had we got off to a flier or even a better start, things would’ve been much different. Obviously, it did spin, and you will see such wickets here and there. Obviously, people over here and players in our team have played on such wickets in the IPL and even in the Indian team. Left-arm seamer Arshdeep Singh kept missing his yorkers and ended up leaking 27 off the over of New Zealand’s innings.”Obviously, Daryl’s innings was very crucial for them and as I said 150 would’ve been par and we would’ve been very happy with that going inside, but yes he made the difference by actually getting a half-century for himself,” Washington said. “He played till the end and made the difference in the last over. I think these big overs will happen in T20 cricket and it just happened in a couple of occasions in this game and at times it could happen where you will see 15 runs and above in three-four overs. That’s how this format is.”Santner also acknowledged that Mitchell’s contribution – and making early inroads with the ball – was crucial on that pitch. Santner himself was so un-hittable in the early exchanges that Suryakumar played out a maiden in the last over of the powerplay. The left-arm fingerspinner came away with the most economical figures on the day: 4-1-11-2.”I don’t think we were ever safe [with that total],” Santner said. “On-seventy-odd was obviously nice, Daryl hit a couple over the rope and he batted extremely well and so did Dev [Devon Conway]. We thought we were in with a sniff at 180 [176 for 6]. We knew we had to bowl well with the power that India have; so it was nice to chip some wickets away at the powerplay, which we struggled for in the one-day series.”

Bangladesh’s ODI captain Tamim Iqbal and Test captain Shakib Al Hasan might not be on the best terms off the field, but Tamim is of the firm opinion that their on-field relationship is in proper working order. “I can assure you that I always get his help as an ODI captain, and I am always there if needs any suggestions in the Test team. When we bat together, or when we are celebrating his wicket, it’s absolutely normal.”Shakib wasn’t available for a comment as he is reportedly in the USA for family reasons. Tamim said that he would have preferred to have Shakib with the squad ahead of the England series, but he understands why Shakib needs to be away. “It is definitely important for the whole squad to be together. But I have said it before that family is the most important thing. Family is above everything else.”Tamim said he had sat down with Shakib in a meeting to work through things, but did not elaborate much. “It [the meeting] was between two individuals who are very important members of the team. I am not just saying this – I am quite a straightforward person, and I have never seen grouping in my career.”I don’t know if it developed in the last six months when I wasn’t with the team, but it doesn’t seem like it. I haven’t seen anything in the last three or four days [during the preparatory camp]. We have been having fun, talking about the BPL, etc. But sadly, when the team isn’t doing well, this term comes up. Now the team is doing well. Big picture – lack of experience a worry for IrelandIreland have nine uncapped players in their Test squad. Three of them have never played first-class cricket. They also have just four survivors from their last Test, back in 2019. Opposite them are Bangladesh, with 473 caps in their Test squad. They were also quite dominant in the white-ball leg of the series in Sylhet and Chattogram, so the Dhaka Test has the potential to be an uneven contest.The seven-wicket in the final T20I in Chattogram should, however, give Ireland some confidence. It was their first win on tour, with the batting, bowling and fielding finally coming together. One of the big stars of the show, Paul Stirling, has gone back home as he is not part of the Test set-up. but they will have regular captain Andy Balbirnie back at the helm after taking a break from the T20Is.The Ireland party also has PJ Moor, the former Zimbabwe wicketkeeper-batter who is now an Ireland cricketer.
